Mentored in the family construction business, Joe started his own company, growing the business from a specialized subcontracting focus into multiple entities where annual sales topped $30 million. Joe has experience successfully navigating the nuances and unique dynamics common to all partnerships, both within and outside of the family. His entrepreneurial roles have given him broad exposure to the complexity of business ownership and growth. Thirty years after receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration, Joe returned to the University of San Diego and completed his Masters degree in Practical Theology. Both experiences lend to his role of Convene Chair. Joe and his wife, Frannie, have three grown daughters and two grandsons. Joe and Frannie enjoy time with family and friends entertaining in their home.
Convene’s mission is to connect, equip, and inspire Christian CEOs and business owners to grow exceptional businesses, become higher-impact leaders and honor God. Through peer-to-peer and executive coaching insight. Growing toward increased personal and business impact. Leading to an ultimate Kingdom legacy.
Chairing allows me to facilitate a group of like-minded Christian business owners to encourage, instruct and counsel each other in an environment of grace and truth. It also allows me to work with individual members on strategic planning for both life and business, discussing opportunities and obstacles along the way.
Coaching allows me to help clients articulate their dreams and vision, putting them into action plans. It helps them move from what is today to what could be in the future. My role is to provide clarity, encouragement, and accountability throughout the journey.
