An experienced consultant and coach, David is the founder and principal at Wendworks where he serves CEO's, entrepreneurs, and senior leaders by guiding them on their path to success. David has been actively involved in multiple startups, family businesses, and brings more than a decade of Fortune 500 corporate experience. He has supported hundreds of independent business owners, corporate leaders, and knows what it takes to build lasting relationships through meaningful solutions.
As a Convene's first Chair in Austin Texas, David engages business owners and CEO's to inspire business performance with an eternal perspective. David's Convene group members work in fellowship to profitably grow their businesses, build their leadership skills, and develop their people through peer-to-peer collaboration and one-to-one coaching.
David earned his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Tyler, specializing in Organizational Development and Change Management and is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He earned his MBA through the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire and holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh. David also earned a bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts from Carleton College in Northfield Minnesota.
In addition, David is a Certified Financial Planner and a Chartered Financial Consultant who has been featured in national publications including Financial Advisor IQ, US News and World Report, MarketWatch, and Thrivent Magazine.
David is an active volunteer business mentor for the Austin Texas chapter of SCORE and is a member of Abiding Love church in Southwest Austin.
