Proverbs 12:15. “Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others”
We need to surround ourselves with insightful, trustworthy friends and advisors (Convene). We need to allow them the freedom to offer whatever input is necessary to make us the best we can be. Each of us has a limited perspective shaped by our own personality, background, and biases, so we benefit from those who see things differently and who are comfortable challenging our assumptions and giving us advice.
We make much wiser and more well-informed decisions when we seek out a variety of opinions from people we trust and respect.
Jesus had his 12 apostles, but his core circle included Peter, James, and John. You all are blessed to have up to 15 other wise men in your Convene group, but who do you have in your core circle? Who are your Peter, James, and John that are speaking into your life on an intimate level?
