Ed is a veteran owner/CEO. He started, grew and sold several companies to inside employees, a national competitor and a Fortune 100 firm. Over the last 15 years he has consulted with the owners of dozens of mid-market businesses across numerous industries. He is driven to engage Christian business leaders to build great companies and to live lives that glorify God, and believes Convene offers the best life/business value proposition of anything he has ever seen.
Ed and his wife are currently active in Waterstone Community Church. He has been an elder in two churches totaling 25 years, and has served on the boards of several non-profit Christian organizations. Over the years, Ed has mentored/coached dozens of men, counseled couples, and taught numerous Bible studies.

Ed Wekesser’s executive coaching practice is focused primarily on the owner/CEO, and to a lesser extent, other members of the C-suite. His coaching lasers in on two of his passions, growing great companies and helping its leaders move toward the life they were designed by God to live. He believes business owners are stewards of the businesses God has gifted to them, and while it is their responsibility to lead their organizations well, their leadership needs to really shine at home. His coaching builds upon the premise that humility, integrity and personal surrender to God form the foundation of all great leadership.
With 40 years of successful entrepreneurial experience and hands-on consulting with business owners he has been instrumental in building exceptional management teams and creating strong operating environments. Ed believes the success of any organization depends upon accountability to core values, great people in the right positions, a simple strategic plan and a relentless drive to serve customers. He engages with organizations that desire to accelerate performance and are willing to put in the hard work required to make it happen.
